This Tayana Vancouver 42 (14m) is a large sailboat designed by the Canadian maritime architect Robert B. Harris in the late seventies. There are over two hundred plying the ocean waves since the first design and drawings. The Vancouver 42 is built by Tayana. Hull and the deck is made of fibreglass. She was built with a long keel which provides a better directional stability than a similar boat with a fin keel.
She can enter most marinas as the draft is just about 1.77 - 1.87 meter (5.81 - 6.11 ft) dependent on the load.
She has a sloop masthead cutter rig and an extensive sail wardrobe which is perfect for crossing oceans as she has completed recently. Rigging/Stays were renewed less than 2 years ago.
The owner has maintained this vessel and is presented in excellent condition. She is ready to go NOW for further exploration.
Don’t miss this opportunity as she won’t last long at this price.
